About Octorand (OCTO)
Was ist Octorand (OCTO)?
Octorand ist ein Ökosystem, das aus einer Sammlung konfigurierbarer NFTs besteht, die als Primes bekannt sind (1.000 Gen1 Primes und 8.000 Gen2 Primes), sowie der deflationären Währung OCTO. Jeder Prime ist ein Algorand Standard Asset (ASA) mit 8 (Gen1) oder 16 (Gen2) Buchstabenmerkmalen, die auf der Algorand Blockchain gespeichert sind. In der ersten Anwendung können diese Merkmale transformiert werden, um Wörter und Sätze zu buchstabieren und dadurch Abzeichen und Punkte in einem gamifizierten Wettbewerb zu verdienen.
Das Ökosystem umfasst eine wachsende Anzahl von dApps - die erste Anwendung "Octoword" wird im vierten Quartal 2022 durch die zweite dApp "Octodraw" ergänzt, mit weiteren dApps in der Zukunft.
OCTO ist der native Utility-Token, der für alle Transaktionen innerhalb des Octorand-Ökosystems verwendet wird:
- Gebühren für die Änderung der Buchstabenattribute von Primes
- Gebühren für die Änderung des Artworks von Primes
- Gebühren für das Auf- und Abwerten von Primes
- Gebühren für die Nutzung der On-Chain-Messaging-Funktion, die es Wallets in Algorand ermöglicht, Prime-Besitzer zu kontaktieren
- Gebühren für die Speicherung von Pixel-Art-Frames in der kommenden Octodraw dApp
Als deflationärer Token dient OCTO auch als Wertaufbewahrungsmittel.
Wie viele OCTO Coins sind im Umlauf?
Octorand wurde am 27. Januar 2022 mit der Erstellung der 1.000 Gen1 Primes gestartet. Jeder Gen1 Prime enthielt einen Vorrat von 1.000 OCTO, die mit einer konstanten Rate von 0,0001 OCTO pro Sekunde (8,64 OCTO pro 24 Stunden) emittiert wurden. Dies ergibt eine Gesamtversorgung von 1.000.000 OCTO. Es können keine weiteren OCTO erzeugt werden.
Alle gespeicherten OCTO wurden am 17. Mai 2022 aus den Gen1 Primes emittiert.
Alle in OCTO bezahlten Transaktionen werden verbrannt - der Smart Contract sendet die Transaktionsgebühr an die Erstellerwallet, die so umgeschlüsselt wurde, dass sie nachweislich unzugänglich ist. Stand 19. August 2022 wurden 218.000 OCTO-Token verbrannt, was einen verbleibenden Umlaufbestand von 781.000 Token ergibt.
