Many people have been asking the same question recently: Has the bull run ended? Will the spring of alts come again?
First, the conclusion - the bull run has never stopped, it has just changed its play.
The previous trend where all coins soared together and you could earn by buying with your eyes closed, known as the "general rise crazy bull run," is indeed over. In its place is a "rotating slow bull" that tests one's insight more. What does it mean? It means that funds are no longer evenly distributed, but instead, like a spotlight, they shine on this sector one week and then on that sector the next week.
Look at the rhythm of this market cycle: Last year, Bitcoin surged ahead and kicked off the cycle, this year BNB has strongly broken new highs, and recently it's even more interesting—MEME coins have suddenly exploded collectively, the privacy coin ZEC has inexplicably skyrocketed, and today the storage sector's FIL has started to rally. How does this look like the end of a bull run? It clearly seems like the sectors are lining up to perform.
Why is this happening? There are actually three reasons behind it:
There is only so much money in the market, and it's impossible for all alts to take off at the same time. Regulation is becoming stricter, and projects without actual value are being abandoned by the market. The entire market is becoming more rational, shifting from the past fast money game to the current patient game.
So what should we do now?
First, stop dreaming of getting rich overnight. This cycle is long, and it requires patience and the ability to choose wisely. Secondly, learn to focus on the leading projects. Only the top projects in the sector can withstand fluctuations, while smaller coins that follow trends are likely to go to zero. Finally, keep a close eye on the Ethereum ecosystem. With the upgrade coming in December, those leading MEMEs on the Ethereum chain that have strong communities, clear narratives, and ample liquidity are very likely to become the next hotspots for capital.
I am currently filtering the top-tier MEME projects on the Ethereum chain myself, waiting for the catalyst brought by this upgrade. The market isn't cooling down; it just needs you to look at it from a different perspective.
