Robinhood Partners with Susquehanna to Launch New Derivatives Exchange in 2026 📈
Robinhood ($HOOD) has announced a joint venture with trading firm Susquehanna International Group to establish a new U.S. derivatives exchange and clearinghouse. The venture will accelerate its launch by acquiring MIAXdx, a CFTC-licensed platform with Designated Contract Market (DCM), Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), and Swap Execution Facility (SEF) registrations.
Susquehanna will serve as a key partner and initial liquidity provider for the new exchange, which will offer futures, derivatives, and event contracts. The move significantly expands Robinhood's ($HOOD) presence in prediction markets following its initial foray into event contracts in late 2024.
The acquisition structure includes MIAX maintaining a 10% strategic stake in the new venture, with the full platform launch expected in 2026.
