Awake now, let's settle the accounts first.
The average short position was at 2885, closed the short at 2985 and kept the long, which is basically a loss of 100 points.
The long position was at 3105, closed at 3135. The 3135 level was only reached late last night. If you didn’t close it, fine, but there was another chance this morning. If you still didn’t close it, then I’m not responsible anymore.
In summary, both the long and short positions ended up with a stop loss of about 100 points. So, a few things to address:
First, I’m stopping public content. The pressure is way too much—prices are jumping up and down, news is flying everywhere, bulls one moment, bears the next, one moment the bears give you a big green candle, then the bulls hit you with a big red one. The pressure on me is just too great.
Second, it’s been over a month since I used the four-step averaging-in strategy in the safe zone. Time to go back to the old way. The reason I stopped using it was because some people had too little principal lately, and I was trying to be considerate. I won’t worry about those players anymore; you should split your principal into four parts. If you feel your position is not enough, use half to buy spot. When you need margin, sell the spot regardless of profit or loss to top up your margin. Also, the position size in my four-step averaging-in strategy is definitely larger than the 1%-2% positions you see elsewhere.
Third, it’s at 3125 now and you’re coming to me for signals at this level? Are you serious? Do you swear that you didn’t see my notice last night at 3135, and when it was below 3050 this morning you didn’t take action? I said not to close at 3135, but you insist on asking me at 3125—what do you mean by that?
