4. Cancel Auto-Renewal (Cancel it when it's about to expire)
Since this involves the auto-renewal issue, here's how to cancel it:
Open Gemini:
Click on Settings in the lower left corner and select Manage Subscription
Choose Change Payment Method, then click Manage
Go to Payments & Subscriptions, click Manage, and you'll see Cancel Subscription
Wait until it's almost expired before clicking Cancel Subscription—don't click it now
Once you click it, auto-renewal will be disabled
