The Christmas holiday is approaching, and major global trading markets are gradually entering holiday closure mode. Investors should adjust their trading plans in advance.
【Stock Market Holiday Schedule】
Hong Kong stocks will close starting this afternoon, and will remain closed for the next two trading days. U.S. stocks will close early at 2:00 AM Beijing time on the 25th and will be fully closed on the 25th. In Europe, Germany and Italy will start their holidays from today; France, the UK, and Spain will close early today, and will not trade on the following two days.
【Futures Contract Trading Hours】
Pay special attention here — CME's precious metals, energy, and forex futures contracts will end trading early at 2:45 AM Beijing time on the 25th, while stock index futures will close even earlier at 2:15 AM. Intercontinental Exchange's Brent crude oil futures contracts will trade until 3:00 AM Beijing time on the 25th.
If you still hold futures positions or plan to trade before or after the holiday, be sure to check the specific closing times in advance to avoid being caught off guard by sudden market closures. The schedules of major exchanges are mostly finalized, so it is recommended to prepare risk management strategies ahead of time.
