What is WAGMI
WAGMI is an acronym for “We’re All Gonna Make It,” which can be literally translated as “We will all succeed.”
People usually use it when making certain trades or investment decisions and expecting good news in the future. For example, suppose someone has already invested in some Bitcoin and believes that Bitcoin will significantly increase in value over the next few years. Then this person might say: “I believe Bitcoin will surge, and I, along with other investors, will become millionaires, WAGMI!” This expresses their confidence and optimism about themselves and the entire Crypto market.
The term WAGMI first originated from a video posted by bodybuilder Zyzz. This video was later uploaded to YouTube in 2012 by Jamie Tree, where Zyzz encouraged young people to actively participate in sports to improve their physical health. Thanks to Zyzz’s widespread influence, WAGMI quickly spread at that time. It wasn’t until around 2020 that the term gained popularity in the Crypto community through Reddit and eventually became part of Crypto culture.
There is also a similar term in the Crypto community: NGMI, but its meaning is exactly the opposite, used to imply that someone will not succeed.
In summary, both WAGMI and NGMI are very popular in the Crypto field. To sum up in one sentence: WAGMI is used to imply future success, while NGMI expresses disappointment in the Crypto market or specific cryptocurrencies. **$AGLD **$TAG **$IAG **
