In early 2025, I learned a costly lesson. Looking back, this was my biggest single-year loss since entering the industry.
Counting the painful lessons one by one: Trump concept coins FOMOed in at high levels and got trapped. Melania coins also didn't escape; I jumped in and got slapped in the face. The Libra story was even worse, another classic case of chasing highs and buying in. My entire Altcoin season holdings were almost wiped out, and Meme coins didn't fare much better. Plus, I was too greedy with futures trading, going all-in and ending up in trouble.
What was the final result? Eight figures vanished into thin air.
Thinking about it now, FOMO really is the biggest killer in the crypto market. When it was time to cut losses, I didn't; when I should have been out, I was still chasing.
