#以太坊大户持仓变化 ZenChain completes multi-million dollar funding, cross-chain interoperability race heats up
$XRP $ETH $PEPE
Recently, liquidity issues in the Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems have been brought to the forefront again. ZenChain has just announced progress in funding—an $8.5 million institutional round has been secured, with an additional $1.5 million in angel funding underway. Investors include Watermelon Capital, DWF Labs, and Genesis Capital, all experienced in multi-chain ecosystem deployment.
What are they aiming to do? Simply put, they want to build an interoperability channel between Bitcoin Ordinals and EVM-compatible chains. It sounds a bit abstract, but the actual impact is concrete—assets on the Bitcoin network can flow to Ethereum and other EVM chains to participate in DeFi or gaming; conversely, applications in the Ethereum ecosystem can access the Bitcoin network. This is not just a simple cross-chain bridge but aims to create a decentralized underlying protocol.
The current multi-chain world is indeed fragmented. Assets are scattered across different chains, liquidity is fractured, and user experience is disjointed. Each cross-chain transfer involves risks and costs. If ZenChain can reduce these frictions, the overall ecosystem efficiency will be significantly improved.
What do you think about this direction? Can interoperability between Bitcoin and Ethereum truly solve the multi-chain fragmentation problem?
Feel free to discuss.
