The market is never wrong; the mistake is always on the human side. Making big money isn't about frequent trading, but about being able to sit tight. The real big trend often comes during the period when you do nothing. I never argue with the market; the market is always right. It's not hard to judge the correct direction, but it's difficult not to get shaken out at the right time. Before the trend proves you're right, it will usually first prove that you're in pain. If you can't endure normal pullbacks, then you don't deserve the profits brought by the trend.
