🚨 KNOW THIS: Some people may not have cash, but they have a heart. That kind of support is priceless.

One thing I’ve learned about life and relationships is this:

Not everybody will support you with money.
And that does not mean they don’t love you.

In fact, some of the most loyal people in your life may never give you ₦50k or ₦100k… but they will show up with something even more valuable:

Which is: Their presence. Their effort. Their sacrifice.

Let’s be honest, especially in Africa, we’ve turned many things into a “who donated money” competition. Most people even get angry with me cos I gave them #10k. I will hear, a whole you chidi.

Weddings. Burials. Graduation. Naming ceremonies. Family meetings. Even birthdays.

We measure love by transfer alerts.
We measure loyalty by how much someone contributed financially.

But life will humble you and teach you something: Some people don’t have money to give but they have a heart.

Don’t overlook the uncle that didn’t “spray money” but ensured everything worked perfectly.

Don’t ignore the auntie who didn’t bring cash but spent hours in the kitchen washing plates and scrubbing pots until her back hurt.

Don’t underrate the brother who doesn’t send money, but when your car is stuck in mud, he calls his friends and they come through immediately.

Don’t take for granted the sister who may not have plenty, but wakes up at night to attend to your child.

That is giving too.

Because support is not only financial.
Support can be emotional.
Support can be physical.
Support can be loyalty.
Support can be presence.

Some people will never have cash to offer you, but they’ll offer you:

✅ Time
✅ Effort
✅ Service
✅ Protection
✅ Loyalty
✅ Prayer
✅ Encouragement
✅ Sacrifice
✅ Presence

And to be honest… in this wicked world we live in, genuine presence is rare.

There are people who will contribute money but will not show up.

There are people who will spray cash but gossip about you behind.

There are people who will give you something today but later use it to control you.

So please… learn this wisdom early: Never look down on anyone because their support isn’t financial.

If they show up when it matters, value them.
If they stand with you when things are hard, respect them.
If they’re consistent in love and effort, appreciate them.

Because love comes in many forms.

And sometimes, the person who cannot give money is the same person that will stand by you when money cannot solve the problem.

Let’s stop measuring everyone with one standard.
Let’s stop shaming people who don’t have.
Let’s stop acting like money is the only proof of love.

Respect people. Appreciate effort. Value presence.

God may not bless you only with givers of money, but with helpers of destiny.

Be wise and Be Understanding.

Shalom 🙏
