Abstract generation in progress

The “QinAo Tour Group” policy launched by the National Immigration Administration allows mainland residents participating in the group to obtain a special visa endorsement, enabling multiple round trips between Hengqin and Macau within 7 days through a “group in, group out” process. Groups can be formed with just two people, and the application process is convenient, effectively solving the previous issues of single-entry travel visas and restricted itineraries. To ensure the policy’s effective implementation, Hengqin Border Inspection Station, in collaboration with the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Cooperation Zone”), issued detailed management rules, clarifying the group formation process and travel agency qualification standards. Currently, 56 travel agencies have obtained operating licenses, organizing over 27,000 tours and serving more than 110,000 tourists. As the Spring Festival travel rush begins, cross-border cultural and tourism activities are booming, and Hengqin Port is experiencing peak passenger flow. The “QinAo Tour Group” policy continues to deliver benefits, becoming an “accelerator” for the development of cultural and tourism industries in both Qin and Ao. According to statistics from the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station Hengqin Border Inspection, since the Spring Festival travel season in 2026, the daily usage of this visa endorsement has doubled compared to the same period last year. In the first 10 days (February 2-11), about 30,000 people used it, driving the Hengqin Port’s Spring Festival travel passenger flow to exceed 1.12 million, a year-on-year increase of 31.1%. The daily passenger flow has exceeded 100,000 for 10 consecutive days. (People’s Financial News)
