O’Reilly Auto Parts to pay $5.6M to WA workers for pregnancy-related discriminations
O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay $5.6 million to more than 50 women in Washington state who alleged pregnancy-related discrimination and retaliation at its Puyallup distribution center. A lawsuit filed by the Washington Attorney General’s Office accused the company of failing to provide reasonable accommodations and retaliating against workers who requested them. The settlement includes O’Reilly agreeing to implement training and new policies to comply with Washington’s Healthy Starts Act and provide biannual compliance reports to the Attorney General’s Office for the next four years.
