Abstract generation in progress

Today, the battery-grade lithium carbonate index price slightly increased compared to the previous trading day. From the market trend, the main contract opened higher, reaching a high of 179,500 yuan/ton, then fluctuated and declined, temporarily falling below the 170,000 yuan/ton mark. It gradually stabilized and rebounded to around 172,000 yuan/ton for consolidation. In the afternoon, prices rose slightly again, fluctuating around 173,500 yuan/ton until the close. The main contract’s open interest decreased by approximately 3,200 lots compared to the previous trading day. Based on actual transactions, upstream lithium salt factories maintained relatively firm quotes, while willingness to sell in scattered orders was weak. When downstream material factories saw prices dip to around 170,000 yuan/ton, some companies’ purchasing interest slightly improved, but most participants remained cautious, adopting a wait-and-see approach. Overall, there are signs of a slight recovery in market inquiry and transaction activity. (SMM)
