Microsoft (MSFT.O) is launching a new office software bundle aimed at attracting more users to utilize its AI tools in work scenarios. The E7 package is priced at $99 per user per month, a 65% increase from Microsoft's previous flagship bundle. The package will include commonly used tools like Word and Excel, as well as the company's Copilot AI assistant and a feature that allows administrators to assess AI usage within the enterprise. Microsoft stated in January this year that over 450 million enterprise users are paying for its office software, but only about 3% of them are also paying for Copilot.
