More than 20 million BTC have been mined on the Bitcoin network, with less than 1 million coins remaining in circulation
According to blockchain data, after 17 years and over two months since the launch of the Bitcoin network in January 2009, the total mined volume has exceeded 20 million coins. The milestone was reached at block height 939,999, with the current block reward at 3.125 BTC. The next halving is expected on April 11, 2028, and analysts believe that mining the last million will take over a century, with the issuance of Satoshis ending around 2140.
