Boston Scientific adds Starbucks CFO, Takeda CEO to board of directors
Boston Scientific has appointed Cathy Smith, CFO of Starbucks, and Christophe Weber, President and CEO of Takeda Pharmaceutical, to its board of directors. These appointments are effective February 18, 2026, and follow the retirements of current directors John Sununu and Yoshiaki Fujimori. Both new board members bring extensive leadership experience in finance, corporate strategy, and global pharmaceutical industries to Boston Scientific.
