ChainCatcher reports that, according to CoinDesk, former Snapchat strategic executive Imran Khan stated that cryptocurrencies play a minimal role in his AI strategy, and that the driving forces behind cryptocurrencies and AI are fundamentally different investment philosophies.

His company, Proem Asset Management, focuses AI investments on productivity and economic growth, while limiting direct token investments and viewing cryptocurrency-related investments as part of broader technological initiatives.

Nevertheless, according to its latest 13F filing, Proem holds shares in Coinbase (COIN), Robinhood (HOOD), and Bitcoin miner Iren (IREN), and owns spot Bitcoin through iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).
