As of February 13, 2026, the SMM imported bauxite index is $61.49 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the SMM Guinea FOB average price is $38 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the SMM Guinea Bauxite CIF average price is $60.5 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the SMM Australian low-temperature bauxite CIF average price is $59.5 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the SMM Australian high-temperature bauxite CIF average price is $56 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the Malaysia bauxite CIF average price is $47 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the washed Malaysia bauxite CIF average price is $59.5 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the Ghana bauxite CIF price is $73 per ton, unchanged from the previous trading day; the bauxite CFR (Turkey) price is $71.5 per ton, unchanged from last Friday. Currently, domestic bauxite supplies are relatively sufficient, and prices are stable with steady transportation. Overall, domestic bauxite supply remains ample, and short-term prices are stable with steady transportation. Regarding imported ore, amid falling ore prices, aluminum oxide plants’ procurement of bauxite remains weak. Additionally, some aluminum oxide plants have advanced their annual maintenance plans, and with high absolute inventories, procurement demand is weak, putting pressure on imported ore prices. SMM will continue to monitor production at domestic and international mines, port shipments, and price trends. (SMM)
