Supreme People's Procuratorate Work Report: From 2025, 3,259 people prosecuted for money laundering crimes involving virtual currencies, underground banks, and other methods

Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 10th, China’s Supreme People’s Procuratorate Chief Prosecutor Ying Yong delivered the Supreme People’s Procuratorate Work Report to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, stating that by 2025, efforts to combat money laundering will be intensified, with 3,259 people prosecuted for laundering crimes using virtual currencies, underground banks, and other methods. Additionally, 69,000 people were prosecuted for telecom and online fraud crimes.
