China Shenhua announced that in January 2026, the production of commercial coal reached 27.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.0%; coal sales totaled 33.2 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. Total electricity generation was 22.22 billion kWh, and total electricity sales were 20.96 billion kWh, representing year-on-year growth of 34.2% and 34.4%, respectively. Self-owned railway transportation turnover was 2.57 billion ton-kilometers, up 9.8% year-on-year; Huanghua Port shipped 18.5 million tons, an increase of 20.9%. Polyethylene sales volume was 31,000 tons, down 2.5% year-on-year; polypropylene sales volume was 29,000 tons, down 2.7%.
