U.S. President Trump told foreign media that the war is almost over, and it is expected to end soon. Oil prices fell, leading to a strong rebound in the Hang Seng Index, which opened 331 points higher at 25,740. It then fluctuated upward, reaching a maximum gain of 464 points, with a high of 25,872. The Hang Seng Index rose 396 points in the first half of the day, closing at 25,804, with a turnover of HKD 172.01 billion. The Tech Index increased by 1.4%, closing at 7,120 points. Tencent (00700) surged over 5%, CATL (03750) rose over 7% after earnings, Zhipu (02513) increased nearly 7%, MINIMAX (00100) gained over 9%, reaching a new high of HKD 1,148 since listing. Financial stocks rebounded, HSBC (00005) and AIA (01299) both rose 3%. Oil prices retreated, China Petroleum (00857) fell over 2%, CNOOC (00883) declined 1%.
