[Hong Kong Stock Market] Hang Seng Index rises over 400 points, Tencent up over 6%, Zhipu and MINIMAX break new highs, CATL gains 9% after earnings release (updating continuously)
【Hang Seng Index / Hang Seng Index / HS/HSI / Hong Kong Stocks / Night Futures / ADR】 Hong Kong stocks rebound nearly 400 points in half a day. U.S. President Trump told foreign media that the war is almost over, and it is expected to end soon. Oil prices fell, leading to a strong rebound in the Hang Seng Index, which opened up 331 points at 25,740. It then fluctuated higher, reaching a maximum increase of 464 points, with a high of 25,872. The Hang Seng Index rose 396 points in the first half of the day, closing at 25,804, with a turnover of HKD 172.01 billion. The Tech Index rose 1.4% to 7,120 points. Tencent (00700) surged over 5%, CATL (03750) gained over 7% after earnings, Zhipu (02513) rose nearly 7%, MINIMAX (00100) increased over 9%, reaching a new high of HKD 1,148 since listing. Financial stocks rebounded, HSBC (00005) and AIA (01299) up 3%. Oil prices retreated, PetroChina (00857) fell over 2%, CNOOC (00883) declined 1%.
