Gate News Announcement: On March 10, AI startup AgentMail announced on March 11 that it has completed a $6 million seed round funding, led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Phosphor Capital, angel investor Paul Graham, HubSpot CTO Dharmesh Shah, Supabase CEO Paul Copplestone, and Ramp CTO Karim Atiyeh. AgentMail also launched an automatic access API, allowing developers to connect AI agents directly to the interface, enabling them to register and create email accounts independently. The platform also permits users to manually set up and manage email accounts, permissions, whitelists, and API keys. AgentMail co-founder and CEO Haakam Aujla stated that AgentMail is built from scratch with the goal of providing AI agents with an email experience similar to humans using Gmail or Outlook, but without the elements of a human interface (UI).
