Boeing has announced that wiring flaws in its narrow-body 737 MAX jets could lead to delays in first-quarter deliveries. The company stated that rework is required on a group of airplanes to fix wires with small scratches due to a machining error but stressed that all in-service 737 MAX aircraft remain safe to operate. Despite this latest issue, Boeing does not anticipate an impact on its year-end total deliveries, and the company recently reported its highest February delivery total since 2018.
