Odaily Planet Daily News: White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that U.S. military actions in Iran “will lead to a decrease in natural gas prices in the long run.” “For the American people, the recent rise in oil and natural gas prices is temporary. In the long term, this action will result in lower natural gas prices,” Jean-Pierre said. She added that Trump and his energy team are “closely monitoring the market, talking with industry leaders, and the U.S. military is continuing to keep the Strait of Hormuz open according to the President’s instructions, developing more plans.” When asked about the timeline for actions against Iran, Jean-Pierre said that military operations in Iran will end when Trump determines that the objectives have been achieved and Iran has unconditionally surrendered. “Ultimately, when the Commander-in-Chief (Trump) determines that the military objectives have been fully achieved and Iran is in a state of unconditional surrender, regardless of whether they admit it, the military actions will end,” Jean-Pierre said.
