According to Bloomberg, the Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a virtual asset trading pilot, selecting 11 companies to test related products and services within a 12-month regulatory sandbox, covering trading platform operations, asset segmentation, gold tokenization, and payment system tokenization. The regulatory authority stated that participating institutions can apply for official licenses after completing 6 months in the pilot and meeting regulatory requirements. This initiative aims to enhance transparency in crypto asset regulation and improve the regulatory framework.
