Attackers are using Google search ads to distribute malware, disguising the ad as the official Claude Code installation page with pixel-perfect cloning. Once users download and install this malicious program, they face serious security risks, including the theft of passwords, cookies, session tokens, as well as the theft of cryptocurrency wallets, credentials, and system information.
