Amazon plans to issue bonds to raise at least $37 billion

On March 11, Amazon launched a bond issuance, which could become one of the largest corporate bond offerings in history. Amazon plans to issue bonds in USD and EUR, with a target fundraising amount of approximately $37 billion to $42 billion.

Amazon is offering up to 11 tranches of high-rated U.S. dollar bonds, with maturities ranging from 2 to 50 years, aiming to raise $25 billion to $30 billion. Amazon also plans to launch its euro bond issuance as early as Wednesday, potentially divided into eight tranches, with a total fundraising target of up to €10 billion (about $11.6 billion).
