High-level Conference on Building a Financial Opening Portal for ASEAN Held

On the afternoon of February 11, a high-level conference on building a financial openness portal for ASEAN, jointly organized by the People’s Bank of China and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government, was held in Beijing. Vice Governor of the People’s Bank of China, Lu Lei, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Cai Yunge, Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, spoke. In his speech, Lu Lei pointed out the need to clarify work priorities and accelerate the development of a new all-round financial cooperation pattern aimed at ASEAN. Based on national major development strategies, strengthen the quality and efficiency of financial services in key areas; enhance artificial intelligence empowerment to improve the service efficiency and management capabilities of financial institutions; strengthen financial exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN to promote the formation of more regional financial governance consensus.
