Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Monitoring: Wholesale prices of agricultural products index 200 decreased by 0.67 points compared to last Friday

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs monitoring, on March 9th, the “Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index 200” was 123.78, down 0.67 points from last Friday. The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 125.70, down 0.79 points from last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.06 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday; beef was 66.28 yuan/kg, down 0.2%; lamb was 64.76 yuan/kg, down 0.4%; eggs were 7.52 yuan/kg, down 0.8%; and whole chickens were 17.46 yuan/kg, down 1.6%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.02 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 8.00 yuan/kg, down 0.7%. Crucian carp was 20.02 yuan/kg, up 0.8%; carp was 14.59 yuan/kg, down 2.5%; white amur was 10.72 yuan/kg, up 0.7%; large hairtail was 41.56 yuan/kg, down 0.7%. Today, among the 46 key monitored varieties in the domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to last Friday are zucchini, cucumber, onion, crucian carp, and large yellow croaker, with increases of 2.1%, 1.1%, 0.9%, 0.8%, and 0.8%, respectively. The top five price decreases are green onion, winter melon, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, and shiitake mushrooms, with decreases of 6.3%, 5.0%, 4.6%, 4.4%, and 4.1%.
