1. Today’s Market Analysis and Tomorrow’s Trading Strategy
Today, the major indices opened flat, fluctuated, and rose by 0.25%. The Shenzhen market was even stronger, with the ChiNext Index leading the gain at 1.31%. Hot sectors like energy storage + lithium batteries, chemicals, and electricity were relatively strong, while AI applications, military industry, commercial aerospace, and gas turbines were weaker. Less than 40% of stocks rose, with 53 stocks hitting the daily limit, including one one-word limit, and 22 stocks being hit by sell-offs at the limit. There were 2 stocks hitting the limit down, and 36 stocks fell more than 5%.

The market showed a pattern of oscillating rebound, with new energy and other blue-chip stocks leading the ChiNext in the morning, and in the afternoon, banks supported the market. Although there was a rebound in recent days, compared to external markets, the overall A-shares are the weakest. A few days ago, they resisted declines due to protective stabilization. Now, invisible hands tightly control the market, with weights always rising here and falling there, maintaining a balance to prevent market-driven rises and falls. As a result, the market is heavily虚, masking the turbulence brought by quantitative trading to individual stocks.

Currently, only sector-specific行情 can be observed, especially those with independent characteristics. When a sector moves in a certain direction, it’s hard to keep up, but when it falls, it’s easy to be innocently dragged down. When looking at sectors, it’s crucial to act quickly, ahead of the herd of quantitative trading, so as to profit from the price increases. Being late makes it easier to be crushed by quant algorithms. Recently, individual stocks lack height; only a few trend stocks have height. The themes lack sustainability; what persists is often through serpentine movements. Every day, sectors rotate rapidly, mainly driven by oversold rebounds. These sectors rise quickly with little selling pressure, suitable for rapid, herd-like quantitative trading, but they also fall quickly.

Markets influenced by quantitative trading are often highly unpredictable and abnormal, frequently falling in hot stocks but rising in obscure directions. For example, the hot small lobster concept today showed almost no performance all day. Yesterday, the strong CPO concept opened high and then declined. The energy storage concept, almost unnoticed before the market, surged collectively. The MicroLED concept, which was hot for a day, re-emerged after being forgotten. Now, it’s about surprises—when you think it’s not working, it suddenly rises. When everyone thinks it’s good, it’s easier to be countered. The small lobster concept benefits industries like cloud computing; according to quantitative logic, it rises when few expect it.

Recently, the market lacks a sustained leading theme, only two intermittent major directions: price increases and computing power. Power has both logical bases, just different subdivisions. Besides resources and energy, some electronic materials have also driven a price rise. Price hikes will be a key theme this year, involving many varieties. When to move depends on news, especially energy, which is more influenced by external factors. Continuing from the first article of the new year, demand-driven price increases are more sustainable. Industry trends can lead to lasting volume increases, while short-term shortages cause volatile price swings. Quantitative trading only reacts to short-term sentiment, but trend trading depends on industry logic. Currently, what’s missing in computing power is the stability seen in last year’s main rally—sometimes domestic chains, sometimes overseas. Essentially, it’s a market ecology-driven, unpredictable trading style. Recognizing the right direction also requires good rhythm.

In the past, daily review articles could cover many topics. Now, skipping two days feels like repetition because the short-term ecosystem remains challenging, with opportunities often arising spontaneously. The market is now in a phase of consolidation; after tomorrow’s meeting, volatility may increase, and a pullback might be more prudent. But large swings are unlikely, and analysis may lose meaning for a long time. Short-term stock trading remains difficult; before the ecosystem changes, most people are not suitable for short-term trading. This week, the market has been weakening external factors but lacks internal support for sustained行情, focusing more on individual stocks and rhythm.
