Tsinghua team achieves new breakthroughs in electrical control of chiral antiferromagnetism

Recently, the team led by Song Cheng and Pan Feng from the School of Materials at Tsinghua University made significant progress in the field of spintronics materials and devices. They achieved efficient all-electrical switching of chiral antiferromagnetic order, bridging the gap between fundamental research and device applications of chiral antiferromagnetism. This breakthrough lays the technical foundation for developing next-generation magnetic storage with ultra-high density, ultra-fast read/write speeds, and low power consumption. Recently, their research results were published online in Nature under the title “Zero-Field Complete Switching of Chiral Antiferromagnetic Order.” (People’s Financial News)
