TechFlow News from Deep Tide: On March 16, according to Golden Ten Data, London Metal Exchange (LME) data shows that starting at 2:44 PM local time (10:44 PM Beijing time), all contract trading on the London Metal Exchange has been suspended. Traders are waiting for more information regarding the cause of this outage and are unable to place orders across various markets from aluminum to zinc. A London Metal Exchange (LME) spokesperson stated: "We are aware of this issue and are taking measures to resolve it as quickly as possible." This trading suspension occurs during a period of heightened volatility in metal markets, as the war in Iran has disrupted supplies of industrial metals including aluminum and zinc, and has also created uncertainty around long-term demand outlook.
