Wu Shuo has learned that Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, stated that the key to the current Iran conflict lies in who can control the Strait of Hormuz. If Iran can leverage the strait to impact oil transportation, the United States will be seen as failing in this conflict, which would not only weaken its influence in the Middle East but could also impact the US dollar, US Treasury bonds, and global capital flows, similar to the shift in Britain's position after the Suez Canal crisis; conversely, if the United States can ensure smooth shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and diminish Iran's threat, it would help strengthen America's global leadership position and market confidence.
