China's National Marine Economic Output Value Grew 5.5% Year-over-Year in 2025

Gelonghui March 13 | The Ministry of Natural Resources released the “2025 China Marine Economy Statistical Bulletin.” According to preliminary calculations, in 2025, the total marine gross domestic product (GDP) nationwide will be 11,018 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year, accounting for 7.9% of the GDP, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous year.

From the perspective of the three industrial structures, the added value of the primary marine industry is 4,923 billion yuan, the secondary industry is 41,017 billion yuan, and the tertiary industry is 64,240 billion yuan, accounting for 4.5%, 37.2%, and 58.3% of the marine GDP, respectively.
