On the occasion of the 3.15 International Consumer Rights Day, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has planned a series of down-to-earth and heartwarming financial literacy awareness activities centered around two main themes: “Consumer Protection Serves People’s Livelihood” and “Consumer Protection Safeguards Rights.” The focus is on increasing awareness among the elderly and new employment groups such as “Two Drivers and Two Members” (truck drivers, ride-hailing drivers, delivery personnel, and couriers), helping to improve consumers’ financial safety awareness and continuously enhance people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security.

In Beijing

ICBC hosts the “Visit ICBC Head Office · Discuss Financial Protection” consumer protection themed event, inviting representatives of “Two Drivers and Two Members” to tour the head office building and participate in discussions. They are provided with financial knowledge and introduced to ICBC’s convenient services, offering a solid “financial escort” for the better lives of new employment groups.

ICBC Beijing Branch participates in Beijing TV’s special program “Beehive Project 3.15—Spring Warmth Beijing Finance,” performing a skit titled “I Want to Return the ‘Loan’,” analyzing typical cases of fraudsters impersonating others to obtain loans, and issuing warnings through authoritative media to prevent financial cyber risks.

In Tianjin

ICBC Tianjin Branch collaborates with ICBC Ansheng Tianjin Branch to carry out the theme promotion activity “Talking Consumer Protection in ‘Old Brand’ Stores.” Through distinctive and engaging interactive games, they educate the public about financial knowledge and promote positive financial energy.

In Inner Mongolia

ICBC Inner Mongolia Branch conducts in-depth outreach in pastoral areas, providing personalized explanations and face-to-face publicity, delivering warm financial knowledge and consumer rights protection policies directly to herdsmen.

In Heilongjiang

ICBC Jiamusi Branch invites couriers to visit the bank’s financial education demonstration base, where they share the history of red finance, hold seminars on preventing telecom fraud, and build a solid financial security line for courier groups.

In Zhejiang

ICBC Zhejiang Branch hosts the theme activity “Follow the Spring Festival Gala to Tour Yiwu · Financial Consumer Protection with You” at the Yiwu Ximen Old Street venue during the Spring Festival Gala segment. They team up with public security agencies to hold a financial anti-fraud seminar and present “Financial Security Gift Packs” to representatives of “Two Drivers and Two Members.”

ICBC Ningbo Branch visits local commercial districts, performing a self-directed anti-fraud drama titled “Trap in the Mist,” allowing the audience to learn about fraud prevention through immersive experience.

In Anhui

ICBC Fuyang Branch visits logistics companies, explaining digital financial services to truck drivers, warning about financial fraud risks, and helping new employment groups bridge the “digital divide,” enhancing the adaptability, accessibility, and inclusiveness of financial services.

In Hubei

ICBC Hubei Branch organizes a “Consumer Protection Market” at popular scenic spots, using fun interactive activities to promote financial knowledge, setting up service counters for convenient services, and creating dedicated science popularization zones for the elderly, youth, and newcomers, embedding financial consumer protection into cultural and tourism consumption scenarios.

In Ningxia

ICBC Ningxia Branch launches rural “big speaker” financial education activities, delivering down-to-earth consumer protection knowledge through lively scenario interactions and easy-to-understand dialect slang, directly reaching villagers.

ICBC will continue to deeply practice the political and people-oriented nature of financial work, carrying out targeted and themed consumer protection education and publicity activities, contributing to improving people’s livelihoods and building a strong financial nation.
