National Energy Administration: 196 million green certificates issued in January, including 151 million tradable green certificates

The National Energy Administration released data on the issuance and trading of renewable energy green certificates nationwide for January 2026. In January 2026, the NEA issued 196 million green certificates, covering 832,000 renewable energy power generation projects, with 151 million tradable green certificates, accounting for 76.79%. This period also issued 152 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy electricity for December 2025, accounting for 77.49%. (National Energy Administration)
