According to the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the People’s Bank of China and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the People’s Bank of China has decided to authorize the Bank of China Limited Colombo Branch to serve as the Renminbi clearing bank for Sri Lanka.
