Amir Performs Eid Al Fitr Prayer

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani performed Eid Al Fitr prayers along with citizens at Lusail praying area this morning.

The prayer was also performed by HH Personal Representative of HH The Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem, several of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ministers, members of the Shura Council, and a number of their Excellencies ambassadors and heads Diplomatic missions in the country.

Sheikh Dr. Yahya Butti Al Nuaimi delivered the Eid sermon, in which he discussed the meaning of Takbeer, and that God Almighty is the Great, the Rich, the Strong, the King, in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and He is capable of all things.

He also pointed out that Eid Al Fitr this year comes amidst exceptional circumstances in the region, praising the sincere efforts made by the security services to protect the homeland and preserve its resources in accordance with the supreme directives, and praying to God to protect our country, its Amir and people, and all Muslim countries from all harm, and to repel the schemes of the aggressors also affirmed that the signs of relief were near, that with hardship comes ease, and following distress comes relief.
