Company Q&A | China Minmetals New Energy: Current Company Cathode Materials Primarily Compatible with Sulfide Solid-State Electrolyte System, Related Cathode Material Products Have Achieved Ton-Level Shipments
Gelonghui March 20 — An investor asked Minmetals New Energy on the interactive platform: You replied on November 11, 2025, “The company’s semi-solid battery cathode materials have achieved ton-scale supply, and all-solid-state battery cathode materials have entered evaluation by core customers for full battery applications.” On December 5, 2025, and January 7, 2026, you responded: “The company’s all-solid-state battery cathode materials have achieved ton-scale shipments.” Are you referring to the all-solid-state battery cathode materials compatible with the 92% high-nickel cathode materials of the Macheng team’s LZACO electrolyte? Or are these from some other technical route for all-solid-state battery cathode materials?
Minmetals New Energy replied that in the field of key materials for all-solid-state batteries, the company’s current cathode materials mainly adapt to sulfide solid electrolytes, and related cathode material products have achieved ton-scale shipments. At the same time, they are conducting related cooperation with Professor Macheng’s team on LZACO electrolyte.
