Audio disclosure: Mujtaba narrowly escaped death by a moment, just minutes before the attack, he was out for a walk in the garden
According to the UK Daily Telegraph website on March 16, Iran’s new Supreme Leader narrowly escaped an airstrike by the United States and Israel because he was taking a walk in his garden just minutes before missiles hit his residence.
Leaked audio obtained by the Daily Telegraph reveals that Mujaheda Khamenei was also a target in the attack that killed his father and other members of the Islamic Republic leadership. However, just before an Israeli “Blue Sparrow” missile struck his home at 9:32 a.m. on February 28, he happened to be out for a walk.
Mazaher Hosseini, an official from Ali Khamenei’s office, gave a speech to senior clerics and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders, providing the first detailed account of the situation when the Supreme Leader’s residence was attacked.
Mujaheda Khamenei lives with his father in a residence in Tehran, which also includes a religious venue where Ali Khamenei often delivers speeches. Other children of Ali Khamenei also reside there.
On February 28, Ali Khamenei and senior security officials were in a meeting when the missile struck the residence. Major General Mohammad Pakpour of the IRGC and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh were among those killed in the attack.
Hosseini said in the recording, “It was God’s will that Mujaheda had to go outside to do something and then come back. He was outside, preparing to go upstairs when they hit the building with a missile. His wife, Hadad, was martyred on the spot.”
Hosseini stated that Muja
