China News Service, March 22 — (Reporter Dong Xiangyi) Due to the Middle East situation, the global economic outlook faces renewed uncertainty. During the China Development High-Level Forum 2026 Annual Conference on the 22nd, Scott Morris, Vice President of the Asian Development Bank, told reporters that the recent economic prospects are quite uncertain because of the Middle East situation, which has put noticeable pressure on the oil and financial markets. “Therefore, we certainly hope that in the coming months, there will be clearer developments and solutions to help stabilize the economies in the Asia-Pacific region.” (End)
