#ParadigmRaises1.2BToBetOnAI

🤖 The lines between Web3 and deep tech are officially blurring. On July 8, crypto venture capital titan Paradigm announced the closing of its fourth fund, raising a massive $1.2 billion to aggressively expand its thesis into artificial intelligence, robotics, and frontier technologies.

Led by co-founder Matt Huang and managing partner Alana Palmedo, Paradigm now commands $11.9 billion in total assets under management. While the firm remains heavily dedicated to core crypto infrastructure and decentralized finance, this new vehicle allows them to go toe-to-toe with Silicon Valley's generalist mega-funds for the most competitive deep-tech deals on earth.

The fund has already quieted any skeptics by deploying capital into heavyweight non-crypto infrastructure, including autonomous drone delivery network Zipline (valued at $7.6B), orbital space defense startup True Anomaly ($2.2B), and open-source AI pioneer Nous Research.

Far from abandoning Web3, Paradigm is betting heavily on the convergence of both sectors—positioning itself at the exact intersection where decentralized liquidity meets machine learning, open AI agents, and autonomous hardware.
