Weekend Review: How to Catch the Next Wave of Altcoin Moves
The performance of small-cap coins this week was quite interesting. I spent several days scanning charts and discovered an obvious phenomenon: almost all the coins that have recently surged have daily Stoch RSI readings above 90.
This sparked a shift in my thinking. Instead of staring at already-running coins every day and trying to chase in, it makes more sense to switch perspectives — actively scan the market and look for targets that are about to take off but haven't yet caught the attention of most people.
Moving from chasing hot topics to systematic scanning actually reflects an important cognitive upgrade. When technical indicators reach extreme overbought levels (RSI 90+), the risk-reward balance is already skewed. Real opportunities often hide at the starting point of the next wave of action — positions that are still accumulating energy but haven't yet broken out.
I'll continue observing next week to see if this logic can help us catch the early-stage rallies of the next wave of small-cap coins.
