🦞 Techub News News, Darren Su (Darren) is a long-time AI builder and community growth advocate actively involved in AI engineering practice and developer communities. He is the co-founder of AGI Villa and serves as the city leader for Datawhale, one of China’s largest open-source AI learning communities, responsible for building the local ecosystem, promoting AI technology adoption, talent development, and innovative developer collaboration models.
Since 2021, Darren has been focusing on AI infrastructure and vector databases, participating in and leading the implementation of enterprise AI innovation projects. He is one of the early practitioners in China paying attention to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector retrieval, and enterprise knowledge base construction, continuously promoting understanding and application of these technologies in real-world scenarios.
In the developer ecosystem and technical community, he is also deeply involved in technical review and project incubation. Darren has been invited to serve as a judge at the WTCC World Hackathon and as a judge for the AMD × MoDa community × Datawhale edge AI competition, focusing on working prototypes, engineering quality, and real-world application value.
