Just saw that Chance, this app for trading cards collectors, raised $3.2M in funding. Makers Fund and Hashed led the round, which is pretty solid backing. They've got some decent investors on board too - Arbitrum Gaming Ventures, Gam3Girl Ventures, Digital Elm.
So basically it's a platform where you can actually trade cards with other collectors and hang out socially. The founder Jun Park mentioned they're working on a prediction market called Chance Predict and another social product, Chance Country Club.
It's interesting how trading cards news keeps getting traction in the crypto space. Between the funding and the features they're building out, seems like they're positioning this as more than just a marketplace. Wonder if the prediction market angle will actually take off or if it's just a side experiment. Either way, the trading cards sector keeps attracting capital.
