Objective
This guide will walk you through how to create and manage your own NFT collection on Gate NFT platform.
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Collection Creation Page
- Go to the Gate NFT homepage.
- Click on "My Assets".
- Select "Collection".
- Click on "Create a Collection" to enter the collection creation page.
Step 2: Configure Your Collection Settings
- On the "Create Collection" page, upload the collection logo.
- Fill in the collection name.
- Select the collection category from the drop-down list.
- Customize your collection with the following optional settings:
- Cover and Banner: Upload visual assets for your collection display page
- Collection Description: Add detailed information about your collection
- Related Links: Add social media links (Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Medium, Telegram) to gain more followers
- Copyright Royalty: Set royalty rate between 0-10% for resale profits (royalty is credited immediately upon each resale)
- User Limit: Set purchase quota per user in the primary market (optional)
- Click the "Confirm & Create" button to create your NFT collection.
Step 3: Verify Your Collection
Navigate to the "My Assets" page to view your newly created NFT collection.
Step 4: Edit Collection Details (Optional)
- If you need to modify any existing NFT collection, click on the collection card to enter its details page.
- Click the "Edit" button to enter the collection editing page.
- Update the relevant content as needed.
Notes
- Once you set a copyright royalty percentage, you will automatically receive this percentage from every resale of NFTs in your collection.
- Setting a user purchase limit restricts how many NFTs each user can buy from your collection in the primary market.
- After creating your collection, you can proceed to mint individual NFT works within it. Refer to the NFT Creation Guide for detailed instructions.
- Content information cannot be changed once an NFT work is completed and minted.
- Gate NFT supports the issuance of multiple copies of the same work. Consider the quantity carefully as it affects valuation.
- NFT transactions occur at low frequency and cannot be undone once completed. Set prices carefully.
- Gate NFT only provides the platform for minting, trading, and storage. Users must independently verify copyright, quality, and value before trading.
- NFTs are blockchain digital assets. Loss of private keys or wallets may result in permanent asset loss. Store them securely.
- The platform only supports specific external mainstream platforms, and the receiving address is not the spot wallet address. Verify deposit addresses and supported contracts to avoid irretrievable losses.
- Works displayed or sold on Gate NFT may have copies on other platforms or blockchains. Verify authenticity before trading.

Q1: Can I change the royalty percentage after creating my collection?
A: You can modify the royalty percentage by editing your collection through the collection details page. Click the "Edit" button to access the collection editing interface.
Q2: What happens if I don't set a user purchase limit?
A: Without a user purchase limit, buyers can purchase unlimited quantities of your NFTs in the primary market, subject only to availability.
Q3: How long does it take for my NFT collection to appear after creation?
A: Your NFT collection appears immediately in your "My Assets" page after successful creation. However, it may take some time for individual NFTs to sell after being minted and listed.
Q4: Can I delete a collection after creating it?
