Gate News: On March 11, Osmosis submitted a governance proposal to the Cosmos ecosystem, planning to migrate Osmosis directly to the Cosmos Hub. If approved by the governance of both chains, Osmosis DEX will be migrated natively to the Hub, unifying liquidity, governance, and security. Except for OSMO not deployed in the Osmosis community pool, all circulating OSMO (approximately 665.1 million) will be converted to ATOM within a 6-month window. The conversion rate is 0.0355 ATOM for 1.998 OSMO, based on the 30-day TWAP of ATOM:OSMO on March 11, 2026. The Cosmos Hub community pool currently holds about 10.11 million ATOM, covering approximately 85% of the required funds. The remaining approximately 1.75 million ATOM needed accounts for about 0.35% of the total supply, equivalent to less than two weeks of staking emissions. This plan does not introduce continuous emissions or structural inflation changes. Unclaimed ATOM at the end of the conversion window will be returned to the Cosmos Hub community pool.
