On the 17th, Strategy announced its flagship indicator, “Bitcoin per Share (BPS),” showing that in the first two weeks of March, BPS grew by 3.0%, mainly driven by a surge in investor demand for $STRC perpetual extension preferred shares. The $STRC series offers low-dilution or even non-dilutive fundraising options, allowing the company to rapidly expand Bitcoin holdings without significantly impacting common shareholders’ rights.
Market reaction and strategic significance
Following the announcement, the prices of Strategy’s common stock $MSTR and $STRC series shares showed positive responses. Analysts pointed out that the average purchase price was attractive relative to the current Bitcoin market price (around $75,000), indicating the company’s strategic timing to accelerate deployment during market stabilization.
Strategy currently holds the largest Bitcoin reserve among global companies, just one step away from the symbolic goal of “1 million Bitcoins.” The company reaffirmed that all future fundraising (including ATM equity issuance, preferred shares, and warrants) will prioritize Bitcoin accumulation, debt management, and Bitcoin-related revenue-generating activities.
